Málaga

MÁLAGA

The city of Málaga is characterised by three factors: the Mediterranean sea, the Guadalmedina river and the mountains proximity. In fact, the eastern city area is a long and narrow strip of land surrounded by the sea and mountains.

The eastern side, with the exception of Malagueta area, is dominated by traditional fishermen’s houses all the way to villas with gardens in the districts of Pedregalejo and El Limonar.

In the east side is located the popular residential area of El Palo, an old enclave that preserves the tradition of Málaga.

Calle Larios

The city center. The famous Calle Larios is the commercial area of Málaga. There you can enjoy an afternoon shopping with family or friends, cultural visits or just enjoying a good wine or beer accompanied by delicious fried fish.

Pasaje de Chinitas

You would not see properly the center of Málaga if you don’t walk from Plaza de la Constitución to Pasaje de Chinitas, one of the most charming corners of the city. Here you can reach some of the popular narrow alleys with bars with terraces and the Café de Chinitas, famous from 1937 by the renowned poet García Lorca.
