Beaches and marina
The 27-kilometers coastline of Marbella are divided into 24 different beaches.
Artola and Cabopino beaches are located in the Dunas de Artola (next to Cabopino harbour) and it is one of the few nudist beaches in Marbella.
Venus and La Fontanilla beaches are central and very populars.
The beaches of Puerto Banús and San Pedro de Alcántara have the blue flag.
The most famous beaches in Marbella are Puente Romano beach, Las Chapas beaches as Cabopino or Don Carlos with fine sand and almost no rocks.
In Marbella centre we find Faro Beach, Cable Beach and Funny Beach.
Finally the most known is Puerto Banús beach, frequented by celebrities and purchasing power people. In addition to its beaches, Puerto Banús is also famous for its nightlife.
There are two marinas in Marbella centre, the marina of Marbella and La Bajadilla, which together with the Puerto Banús and Cabopino ones make Marbella a city with an unique offer of berths that place it among the best ones in the world.
Transport
Marbella is located at 51 km from Málaga-Costa del Sol International Airport. Bus connections link Marbella to the largest cities on the western Costa del Sol, Málaga and its airport, as well as nearby inland areas (Benahavís, Ojén, Ronda) and some of the other main cities of Andalusia. There are also connections to other destinations of Spain as Madrid from the central bus station.
Leisure

Along the promenade, in the city centre area and in Puerto Banús there is an incredible selection of bars, pubs, discos and clubs to enjoy the nightlife.

Marbella has also 3 big shopping centres (La Cañada, Costa Marbella and Plaza del Mar) where you will find all kind of shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
Starlite Marbella Festival: since 2011 is a summer event showcasing performances by the best national and international artists.
Fiestas de San Bernabé: celebrated in honor of the Marbella patron saint. The celebration starts the 11th of June and includes concerts and fireworks.
Gastronomy
The city has a huge selection of restaurants that combine international cuisine with typical dishes of the area.
As example of the quality gastronomy, we can mentioned the chef Dani García, one of the best chefs in the whole Spain and in the world with 3 Michelin stars.
Walking through Marbella you will find from the typical taverns and wineries by the narrow streets of the old town to restaurants that offer from their terraces an incomparable setting to taste food with views to the luxuries yachts docked in Puerto Banús.
On the beaches of the area there are popular traditional beach bars where you can taste skewers sardines, delicious Malaga’s fried fish, nutritious and refreshing Andalusian gazpacho and famous paella, always the best of Mediterranean cuisine.
Sport
Marbella is a paradise for golf lovers and has the most golf courses on the European continent. In total there are 15 very high-quality courses where you can play every day of the year.
Marbella also has a world-famous sports center, where football clubs from around the world visit to practice for the coming season.
There are four 11-a-side football pitches and four 7-a-side ones, as well as gym, spa, medical center, laundry, a thousand-person stand in the main football pitch and a football museum.
